My initial inspiration was drawn from the enthralling illustrations of Erte, the iconic artist of the early 20th century. His work sparked the creative vision for my piece, with the narrative coming to life through a dream. This artwork captures the ethereal essence that lies between the night’s slumber and the mystique of dreams, and the dawning of a new day marked by awakening. It is an embodiment of the soul’s nocturnal journey through the astral realm, while the body rests. And with the daybreak, we are revived, carrying forth the energy of inspiration into the waking world.
