City of Boston, 2024

Originally, I created this image for a mural contest held by a college. The illustration depicted a building from the college and the vibrant city of Boston, capturing the essence of creative life. My goal was to convey a sense of brightness and forward movement, symbolizing progress towards a bright future.

Later, someone liked this illustration a lot and approached me with a commission to create a background image for gymnastics events. I adapted my original illustration by rearranging the composition to accommodate the logo, changing the colors to match the company’s palette, and refining some details. I am very pleased with the final result.
